Mission Statement
The Georgia Sports Hall of Fame is the official sports heritage museum of our state. The Hall serves to collect, preserve, and interpret the history of sports in Georgia, and to share this rich history with our citizens and our guests. We seek to honor those who by their outstanding achievement or service have made lasting contributions to sports in Georgia, the nation, and the world. In addition, the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame seeks to be a positive influence on Georgia’s youth through educational initiatives promoting character development and physical fitness.

Steps For Life
The Georgia Sports Hall of Fame welcomes tour groups of all ages. Currently the GSHF is offering a health and wellness program called "Steps For Life" to older elementary and middle school students. For more information, please contact Ben Sapp at bens@gshf.org or call at (478) 752-1585.
While visiting the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame, please visit our neighbors at the Georgia Children’s Museum. Joint group tours are available with advance notice. Go to GCM Field Trips for more information or contact Ben Sapp at bens@gshf.org to schedule your trip to both museums
