The GSHF recently unveiled a new exhibit celebrating the art of sports illustration at the museum in Macon.  Sports...Illustrated features original artwork and reproductions that originally appeared in newspapers and on program covers.  Sometimes informative, sometimes funny, and always colorful, these illustrations provided the imagery for sports publications in and era before high-quality photography

The Georgia Sports Hall of Fame and the Kwanzaa Cultural Access Center partnered to present the 6th Annual Salute To Freedom 5K Run/Walk for Health & Peace on Saturday, June 14.  The 2008 5K continued the growth that has marked each year of the race.  It was a beautiful morning for the 140 + runners who made their way through downtown Macon, the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail, and Central City Park.  Click the link below for race results.
